mselect is seeking a Workforce Mobility & Outsourcing Officer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be a key member of the Workforce Mobility & Outsourcing Department, responsible for managing our clients' personnel requests and managing local administration.

Summary
Part of the Workforce Mobility & Outsourcing Department responsible for managing our clients’ personnel requests. Duties include managing the entire onboarding process for our contractors followed by overseeing the mobility, immigration, payroll, and administration tasks. Collaborating closely with various departments, you will ensure that the hiring experience is efficient, compliant, and aligned with company policies. In this role, you will also develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all processes, ensuring consistency and transparency across functions. Your diverse responsibilities will contribute to the seamless operation of these critical aspects of our workforce management.

Key responsibilities
  • Become the point of contact for mselect expat contractors and meet where possible
  • Create a comprehensive onboarding plan for expatriate contractors
  • Guide expatriates through the onboarding process, providing clear instructions and support
  • Coordinate contractor relocation and mobility services, including visa applications, housing, and transportation
  • Develop or improve SOPs for the onboarding process and reflect changes in regulations, new territories or company policies
  • Train relevant team members on the SOPs to ensure consistent implementation
  • Conduct orientation sessions for contractors to familiarise with policies
  • Work closely with Recruitment, HR, Legal, Finance, and other departments to ensure timelines are on track
  • Oversee expat contractors and client’s regular satisfaction through a managed process
  • Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration
  • Stay up-to-date with labour laws and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Prepare and submit reports on certain metrics to management
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their staffing needs and challenges
  • Serve as a point of contact for certain clients
  • Process payroll for employees accurately and on time. Collaborate with finance teams to resolve payroll-related discrepancies
  • Administration of Qatar office
Requirements
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in human resources, workforce mobility, or outsourcing roles
  • Experience in managing expatriate or contractor onboarding and mobility processes is highly desirable
  • Advanced English, speaking and writing
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritize
