Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Policy

mselect is committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued, respected, and supported. We believe that diversity in all its forms, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, religion, national origin, and socioeconomic status, makes us a more robust and innovative organisation.


To that end, we have developed the following DEI policy:

1. Diversity

We recognise that a diverse workforce is critical to our success, and we are committed to actively recruiting, hiring, developing, and promoting diverse employees. We will ensure that our hiring and promotion processes are fair and unbiased and that all employees have equal opportunities to succeed.


Our DEI work includes an open-door policy for receiving feedback on our diversity practices.

2. Equity

We are committed to creating an equitable workplace where all employees can access the resources, opportunities, and support they need to thrive. We will strive to ensure that all employees are treated fairly and respectfully. We will take steps to identify and address any systemic barriers within our organisation.


Our equity policy covers all aspects of the employee journey from:

  • Recruitment and selection

  • Terms of employment; pay, conditions, and benefits

  • Policies and procedures

  • Career development

  • Working practices; task allocation, discipline, and grievances

  • Interpersonal engagement

  • Customer and supplier engagement

  • Partner and stakeholder engagement

  • Termination of employment and off-boarding job leavers


It also includes dealing fairly with those who interact with our business and providing equity training to ensure our values and responsibilities are handled correctly when and where staff represents our business.

3. Inclusion

We believe an inclusive workplace is one where all employees feel valued, respected, and supported. We will ensure that all employees have the opportunity to participate fully in our workplace culture and that their contributions are recognised and valued. We are committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity, where everyone feels comfortable being their authentic selves and bringing their whole selves to work.


As such, our DEI work includes an open-door policy for receiving feedback on our inclusion practices.

4. Training and education

We will provide ongoing training and education to all employees to promote workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion. This may include training on topics such as unconscious bias, cultural competence, and effective communication across differences. We will also provide resources and support to employees experiencing discrimination, victimisation, or harassment.

5. Partnerships

We will foster partnerships and collaborations with organisations that share our values and are committed to advancing DEI in their respective communities.

6. Reporting and accountability

We will hold ourselves accountable for creating and maintaining a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. We will be transparent with our employees, suppliers, partners, stakeholders, and customers about our goals and commitment.


We will regularly review and assess our DEI goals and progress towards them, taking action to address any areas we need to improve. We will also hold our employees and leaders accountable for upholding our values and ensuring our workplace is free from discrimination, victimisation, and harassment.


By embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion, we will create a stronger and more resilient organisation better equipped to serve our customers, employees, and community.
