mselect is looking to hire a Training Coordinator for an international oil and gas operator in Basrah. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and be fluent in English and Arabic.
 
JOB OBJECTIVE
This position exists to coordinate the Training & Development requirement.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with other training advisors to advise key stakeholders to address the training needs of staff through the most effective training & development methodologies & aligned to the Business Plan
  • Support in conducting training needs analysis
  • Assist to deliver training solutions and curriculum as per industry set standards, to drive excellence wherein the solutions are commercial, evaluate and meet the needs of the business with a focus on application and delivery ensuring consistent benchmarking
  • Pro-actively contribute to the propaganda of training activities throughout the organization
  • Coordinate and facilitate in-house training sessions
  • Participate in developing and implementing training programs
  • Order supplies and coordinate logistics for training activities including venues, equipment
  • Support vendor onboarding and manage invoices & payment processing
  • Prepare training schedules, trainees list, and record daily attendance
  • Gather data, keep proper filing, maintain training records and generate reports on a regular basis
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
 
KEY REQUIREMENTS
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Training and Development, related discipline or equivalent
Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Training professional, coordinator, or talent development role
  • Training & development experience in Oil & Gas/ energy industry is highly desirable
Computer Skills:
  • MS Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint – Advanced
Skills:
  • Professional in document/record keeping
  • A high level of listening, courtesy and communication skills
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of people
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic (verbal & written)
 
Rotation:
14 Days on/ 14 Days off
