mselect is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for an international oil and gas service client in Basrah. Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry. Fluency in English, and Arabic is a must.

JOB OBJECTIVE
Coordinate material availability and distribution activities in warehouse as well as monitor all the equipment’s & materials physically availability in inventory.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Inventory Management:
  • Monitor yard equipment and material every day, assess material requirements and arrange accordingly with concerned logistics staff
  • Coordinate with Site Manager and Field Engineers on various field operations requirements/ activities, such as Preparing Equipment’s as per BOM
  • Handle equipment receipt and dispatch activities with Inventory Controller
  • Prepare and review checklist of equipment and materials before and after ESP installation
  • In-charge of equipment’s and materials delivery & receiving status
  • Receives delivered supplies, materials, and equipment; confirms that delivered goods match purchase order specifications of quantity, condition, model number, etc; completes all necessary paperwork for stock items received, and forwards to Logistic team
  • Organizes and maintains warehouse and inventory yard areas for efficient material storage and handling; maintains labeling system on each stock item; manually stocks inventory shelving with stock items received or returned
  • Maintains records and coordinates the periodic safety inspection and testing of specialized utility equipment
Budget:
  • Participate in Operation Support’s budgeting cycle and provide input to the budgeting process
  • Ensure effective utilization of warehouse budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
  • Investigate and propose implementing strategies that result in positive financial impact for APC and mitigates financial and operational risks
Policies, Processes and Procedures:
  • Recommend improvements to Operations Support’s policies, and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective results
  • Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
  • Monitor day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
Safety, Health and Environment
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across activities in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and responsible environmental behaviors
  • Report on incident and accident occurrences to the concerned parties in order to address current and mitigate future risks
  • Manage & protect inventory stock from any inconvenient storing methods environmentally or humanly
  • Monitor changes to legislation and APC’s activities, and ensure such changes are covered within all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and Experience:
  • 8-9 years of experience in material handling & Supervising
  • Supervision, Safety Management, Data Entry Management, Dependability, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information , Time Management, Equipment Maintenance, Organization
Education and Certifications:
  • An Associate Degree in Material Management & Computer Science
Job Related Skills:
  • Familiarity with oil production equipment.
