mselect is looking for a Sales Executive for an international heavy industry client in Baghdad. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role with heavy machinery brands. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

Job Objective
The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying, initiating and managing sales opportunities for heavy machinery brands (excavators, cranes, pump trucks and etc.). This position will be responsible for growing the customer base, expanding market share, and developing long-term relationships with customers. The Sales Executive will have an understanding of the heavy machinery brands industry and customer buying processes, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and put into action marketing plans for your business in both existing and new areas.
  • Utilize demands and push recommendations to transform business possibilities; help customers achieve purchase intent; and enter into contracts with consumers for delivering goods.
  • Identify potential customers through market research
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of the heavy machinery brands industry
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the features and benefits of the products/services being sold
  • Close deals by providing solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Manage customer accounts by providing technical support when needed
  • Track sales progress against targets set by management
  • Develop an understanding of competitive activities in the market place
  • Researching competitors’ products and services
  • Developing and following up on sales leads to identify new customers
  • Developing and maintaining good customer relationships
  • Understanding customer needs to ensure effective product presentations
  • Accurately forecasting future sales
  • Following up on sales orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Provide timely feedback to management on market trends and competitive activities

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or a comparable level of expertise
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales role in the heavy machinery brands industry
  • Strong market development and customer management skills, including the ability to quickly identify and meet customer requirements, concentrate on the best product options for them, and demonstrate effective relationship and teamwork skills
  • As work travel is necessary, applicants must own a vehicle
  • Machinery knowledge is required
