Key Responsibilities
- Achieve targets
- Develop customer accounts
- Support major projects at the Conceptual/Study, FEED (Front End Engineering Design) & EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) bidding stages
- Develop and progress initiatives for new and increased business
- Develop intimacy with key account customers listed above
- Communicate routinely and effectively with all important customers
- Ensure customers are aware of all applicable company representations
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and support successful closure
- Conduct customer presentations at least 4 times annually
- Implement and support training on products for customer engineers
- Take the lead on major projects, develop summaries, and support mega projects via conference calls and meetings
- Maintain files and data on sales history and account history
- Utilize the business tools and maintain reports for all projects and
- Opportunities and support the monthly reporting process
- Attending all possible training as provided by the Company and relevant suppliers
- Conduct regular and extensive customer sales calls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 2-3 years of machinery sales experience
- Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Team player: Outside sales-minded
- Highly organized; Good communication skills; Takes initiative; Results-oriented; Negotiation skills
- Language: Good in writing and speaking English and Arabic
- Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions
- Refine personal skillset based on feedback and ongoing projects
- Ability to evaluate requirements even where there is no formal RFQ (request for quote) and to prepare and present proposals to customers
