Role Overview
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, leveraging your industry knowledge and network to attract top-tier talent and meet client hiring needs. With more than three years of experience in recruitment, you are expected to take a consultative approach in client and candidate engagement, provide strategic input, and deliver high-quality recruitment outcomes. You will also act as a mentor to junior team members and contribute to business growth through proactive relationship management and market insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Conduct client meetings to understand hiring needs, company culture, and job requirements in depth
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic sales and marketing efforts
- Provide market intelligence and recruitment strategy consultation to clients across various industries
- Source high-quality candidates through job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and targeted headhunting
- Maintain and manage a pipeline of skilled candidates in alignment with current and future client needs
- Conduct structured interviews, skills assessments, and behavioural evaluations
- Utilize advanced sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems to manage the talent pool efficiently
- Screen, shortlist, and present qualified candidates to clients with well-structured summaries and CVs
- Arrange and coordinate interviews and provide candidates with detailed job briefs and preparation support
- Conduct background checks, reference verification, and follow up throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Manage salary negotiations, job offers, and onboarding processes
- Provide clients and candidates with accurate advice on salary benchmarks, employment trends, and career planning
- Track key metrics (e.g. placement success rate, client satisfaction, time-to-fill) to evaluate and improve performance
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment policies, systems, and procedures
- Mentor junior recruitment staff and assist in training new hires
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-3 years of recruitment experience, ideally in an agency or multi-sector environment
- Proven track record in business development, client servicing, and successful placements
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a consultative and professional approach
- English is a must, Kurdish and Arabic are preferable
- Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
