mselect is looking to hire a Head of Support Services for a consultancy client in Erbil. Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with 3 years in a managerial level position. Fluency in English and Kurdish is a must, and Arabic is a plus.

Job Overview
As the Head of Support Services Department, your role will be to oversee and manage the various support functions, including IT, legal, finance, and logistics, to ensure the smooth operation of project activities. You will be responsible for leading a team of professionals, developing strategies, and ensuring efficient and effective support services are provided to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of professionals within the Support Services Department, providing guidance, coaching, and support for their professional growth and performance excellence
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for the support functions, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement
  • Foster collaboration and effective communication with other departments and stakeholders to understand their support service needs and provide appropriate solutions and support
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as vendors, suppliers, legal advisors, and financial institutions, to ensure effective collaboration and service delivery

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Previous Experience in Year and Field: Extensive experience in managing support service functions, such as IT, legal, finance, and logistics, preferably in a similar project or organization
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Kurdish and English – Fluency in Arabic is a plus
  • Other Skills:
    • Proven leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a team of professionals
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build relationships
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and make informed decisions
    • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in the context of the project

Rotation:
  • 5 days per week and 8 hours per day (Starting from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm)
