mselect is hiring a Corporate Affairs Coordinator for an international oil and gas operator in Basrah. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

Job Purpose
  • Promotion of The field Oilfield activities, demonstrating development
  • Release of information on behalf of the Management
  • Media affairs and public diplomacy
  • Protection of reputation of The field
  • Insights on the changing environment which may impact oilfield activities
  • Engagement with international and local media outlets
  • Provision of media mitigation plan, as necessary
  • Development of key messages of the company and their counterpart, employees and public
  • Coordinate with departments for all exhibitions, workshops and meetings inside or oversea

Main Responsibilities
  • Promote The field Oilfield with traditional and new media channels
  • The field Oilfield internal news and culture promotion and publishing
  • Local and international Oil & Gas exhibition support
  • Maintain regular sync up meeting with local and international media
  • Local news and information collection
  • Media and corporate affairs collaboration & engagements
  • MOO and public relationship affairs support
  • Monitor local and international media outlets to provide insights to management
  • Control outgoing news from The field
  • Promote and protect The field reputation
  • Create messages of The field internally and externally
  • Spot and promote success stories about The field
  • Correspond with stakeholders’ media outlets and prepare engagement platforms
  • Running social media outlets

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • University degree, recommended specialization Graphic Design, Media or administration
  • Experience in media or administration is advantage
  • Advanced user knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Media or corporate affairs administrative support
Language proficiency, computer and software skills:
  • English as working language
  • Advanced user knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Photoshop skills is advantage
