RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the automotive industry
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market share and achieve sales targets within the car segment
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including dealerships, distributors, and manufacturers
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and solutions tailored to the needs of the brand car manufacturers and distributors
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and car market developments
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners in the automotive sector
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales performance, and market insights
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience with a proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within the automotive, spare parts, or machinery manufacturing sector, specifically Japanese brands
- Strong network and existing relationships with key players in the Japanese automotive sector
- In-depth knowledge of Japanese car models, market trends, and consumer preferences
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective business plans
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
- Japanese national or someone with strong knowledge of the Japanese culture and language
