Job Objective
Routine coordination with BOC Auditors to ensure that required information is arranged, reviewed, and shared on timely basis, assist in Partners audit, ensure compliance with Department policies and procedures, assist Audit Section in all matters related to BOC and Partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in BOC Audit routine activities, coordinate with other functions to collect required information, prepare official response for letters received from BOC, MoO, PCLD
- Participate in preparation of Audit plan for BOC Audit
- Participate in preparation of Audit plan for JV Audit
- Translate, Analyse & Classify audit notes and update the record on daily basis
- Participate in compliance audits and other special assignments as required by Management
- Develop recommendations to improve business processes across the organization
- Follow up on BOC Directional notes and review action plans with different user departments
- Participate in various meetings with BOC, PCLD, MOO and inter-company discussions related to audit matters
- Assist Audit Section Head / Manager in preparation of various reports
- Assist in various matters related to tax compliance and filing as & when required
- Any other works assigned by Audit Section Head and/or Audit Manager
Communications & Working Relationships
Internal:
- Frequent contacts with Focal points in the company to receive and give information related to Audits
- BOC Auditors
- Government Representative (MoO, BOC, PCLD, other Governmental Audit Sections/Departments)
- Joint Venture Partners
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or other relevant field of study
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
- Good command of English and Arabic is essential
- 5-7 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- Knowledge with data analysis
- Knowledge of audit procedures/ principles
- Analyse processes and recommend solutions
- Work both collaboratively and individually
- Analytical thinking and a team player
- Ability to interact and communicate within and outside organization

28 Days on/ 28 Days off
