mselect is looking to hire an experienced Area Sales Manager for an FMCG client in Erbil. Candidates must have a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic is a must.

Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities and developing business in the assigned area. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team and other departments to drive revenue growth, achieve sales targets, and ensure customer satisfaction

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets in the assigned area
  • Manage and monitor sales team performance and provide coaching and training to improve their skills
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders in the dairy industry
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand the customer base in the assigned area
  • Collect and analyse market information and provide feedback to the management team to improve business performance
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay up-to-date with industry developments
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales data and other relevant information
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company's products and services
  • Collaborate with other departments, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth business operations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in sales or business development in the dairy industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of market trends and customer behaviour in the dairy industry
  • Proficient in MS Office and sales software
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required
