Course Overview

Operational Excellence is more than just improving processes—it's about embedding a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency across the organization. This 3-day immersive course equips participants with tools and strategies to drive sustainable improvements, reduce waste, enhance quality, and create customer value. Drawing from Lean, Six Sigma, and systems thinking, the course combines conceptual learning with hands-on applications.

  • Overview of Lean principles

  • The 8 types of waste (TIMWOODS)

  • Techniques to identify and reduce waste

  • Simulation/game to spot waste in processes

Day 2: Tools and Techniques for Excellence

Module 4: Structured Problem Solving

  • Root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone)

  • PDCA and DMAIC methodologies

  • A3 thinking for structured improvement
