Course Overview
Forklifts are the most widely used pieces of equipment for lifting and moving heavy loads. Many industries such as oil and gas, agriculture, industrial, construction and many more, use one or more types of forklifts for handling heavy materials at the job site.
This 2-day course will teach trainees how to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. It is appropriate for lift operators of any brand and type and will demonstrate the significance of proper forklift safety and handling techniques.
This course has been developed to produce competent forklift operators who understand the principles of operating a forklift, and who can operate a forklift safely.

Assessment
At the end of the theoretical and practical sections, assessments are performed as follows:
Theoretical assessment: multi-choice questions (10 questions/30 marks), long answers to the question (10 questions/40 marks), and matching questions (10 words/30 marks). The trainee passes the course if he answers 80% of the question correctly.
Practical assessment: an assessment involves the practical conduction of forklift operation as per the points mentioned in (the practical assessment of forklift operator), the trainee passes the assessment if the passes all the points in the assessment checklist
