Course Overview
This Emergency First Aid at Work course provides participants with essential first aid knowledge and practical life-saving skills needed to respond effectively during workplace emergencies. The training is designed to build confidence and enable participants to remain calm, organized, and professional when dealing with accidents or sudden illness.
Through guided instruction, practical demonstrations, real-life examples, and hands-on exercises, learners will gain the skills to manage minor injuries, assist individuals who become unwell, and respond appropriately to emergency situations. The course covers best-practice techniques such as managing burns and scalds, placing casualties in the recovery position, performing CPR, and responding to common workplace injuries.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to take appropriate action in critical situations including seizures, strokes, choking incidents, and cardiac emergencies, and confidently act as a first point of contact for first aid in the workplace.
