JOB OBJECTIVE
Key member of the Surveillance Section assisting the Team members to timely and safe delivery of oil production and wells management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist production engineering team with day-to-day operations
- Interpret field and individual well performance, trends using the appropriate and/or latest technique to ensure optimum and economical petroleum resources production
- Support Subsurface activities and team member accordingly to ensure work is competed timely and manage the Production database for the Subsurface team
- Provide and develop technical support in all areas of and production engineering related to the exploration, appraisal, development, and production of hydrocarbons in areas of site
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing performance of wells with analytical methods and numerical simulation
- Assist in planning and monitoring Operational Production Engineering related operations including supervision of PVT sampling, PLT/RST, well testing, stimulation, and injection/production well optimization
- Assist in improving existing and participate in developing new methods and technologies to:
- Reduce operating and development costs
- Increase oil recovery
- Improve work efficiency.
- Take part in strong interdisciplinary cooperation both intra- and interdepartmentally
- Assist in preparing input for and/or author Company and/or Production Engineering related reports and documentation at all levels (individual wells, patterns, reservoir scale)
- Ensure efficient flow of communication within the team
- Strive towards that in all matters – prior to decision – economical and technical assessments are made, constant care observed, and initiative taken to secure the best economical results
- Strive towards that all tasks and studies are efficiently implemented in a professional manner, securing compliance with contracts, company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws, regulations, etc

- Ensure well data are accurately recorded and stored
- Full Field Integrated Reservoir Modelling (Prosper, MBAL, GAP)
- Preparation of Yearly Surveillance Plan (Pressure Surveys, PLT, RST…) result and statistics aiming to
- evaluate and improvement
- Preparation of Reservoir Inputs for Operations & Well Work-Over
- Follow Work Over Schedule (Service Rig & Rigless) and operation on daily basis
- Follow Stimulation and Clean Up and New Well Commissioning
- Assist in preparation of Completion and/or Recompletion Proposals
- Preparation of Proposals, Follow & Interpret Well Tests
- Candidate Wells Selection for Artificial lift (ESP and Gaslift)
- Prepare Service Request for Data Acquisition, QC the Data and Validate, Database Management and update.
- Assist in any ongoing tender and prepare contractor performance report to verify invoices and VOWD for the Reservoir engineering section
- Follow all relevant company health, security, safety and environmental policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure Health and Safety compliance in all aspects of work by applying them to self, others, and corporate assets
- Support in technical evaluation and verification of contractors’ pre-qualification documents and assessment of each contactor’s capabilities, to ensure our selection of appropriately qualified contractors at the optimum price and required standards
- Provide specialized support during the execution of contracts to ensure that both contracting parties fulfil their obligations
- Assist in invoices verification related to Fluid analysis, and well testing
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency
- Implement all relevant policies, processes, procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet Reservoir Engineering section requirements, policies and standards

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Petroleum/ Chemical/ Reservoir engineering
- A Master’s degree in reservoir engineering would be preferred
2 years of experience in oil and gas upstream engineering
