Job Summary
To provide professional travel services to corporate clients, ensuring their travel needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively. The Corporate Travel Agent will manage bookings, handle client requests, and ensure a seamless travel experience for business travelers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Travel Arrangements:
- Plan and book domestic and international travel arrangements for corporate clients, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and other transportation
- Ensure all travel arrangements comply with the client's travel policies and preferences
- Handle complex itineraries and last-minute changes with ease
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their specific travel needs and preferences
- Provide personalized service to ensure high client satisfaction
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide accurate travel information
- Ensure cost-effective travel solutions by identifying the best available rates and negotiating with suppliers
- Monitor and report on travel expenses, ensuring adherence to client budgets and travel policies
- Provide clients with cost-saving recommendations and travel alternatives
- Prepare and manage travel documentation, including itineraries, invoices, and travel insurance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant travel regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of all travel bookings and client interactions
- Handle travel-related issues and emergencies, providing solutions and support to clients as needed
- Coordinate with travel suppliers to resolve booking problems, cancellations, or changes
- Ensure clients are informed of any changes to their travel plans promptly
- Utilize travel management software and booking systems to manage client reservations
- Stay updated on the latest travel technology and tools to enhance service delivery
- Provide clients with guidance on using travel apps and online booking systems
- Prepare travel reports for clients, highlighting travel patterns, expenses, and savings
- Analyse travel data to identify trends and opportunities for improving travel services
- Provide feedback to the Corporate Travel Operations Manager on client needs and service improvements
REQUIREMENTS
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Travel Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a travel agent, with a focus on corporate travel
- Proficiency in travel management software (e.g., Galileo, Sabre) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel regulations and requirements
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and handle tight deadlines
