mselect is looking to hire a Sales Officer for a retail client in Baghdad, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Officer to join our team, a leading distributor of cosmetics and beauty products. The Sales Officer will be responsible for expanding our client base by identifying and acquiring new accounts within the cosmetics industry. This role requires a motivated individual with a strong understanding of sales strategies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for beauty products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and prospect potential clients including cosmetics stores, pharmacies, salons, and other relevant businesses
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Sales Strategies: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively showcase their benefits and features to clients
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive activities, and potential opportunities for growth
  • Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with clients to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and achievements to management
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to coordinate efforts and support overall company objectives
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring prompt follow-up

REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the cosmetics or beauty industry
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively present products
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is a must
Additional Requirements:
  • Availability for occasional travel within the assigned territory
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
