Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate translation of correspondences, documents, reports, etc, for Projects, Engineering & Procurement Services Directorate as required and advise on the correct usage and grammar of both English and Arabic
- Provide translation services to Projects, Engineering & Procurement Services Directorate from Arabic to English and vice versa. This includes documentation, memos, technical correspondence, and minutes of meetings, correspondence within the client and to other parties as required
- Translation includes full knowledge and familiarity with Engineering technical terms
- Translate documents promptly and ensure delivery as requested
- Liaise with the Engineering Group Departments to obtain clarifications regarding the requested translation documents
- Ensure the content, style and context of the original material are adhered to and maintained
- Edit, revise, proofread and type all translated material before handing over to the originator
- Ensure translation output is presented in the requested format
- Ensure confidentiality of all translated output
- Maintain a filing system for all carried out translations
- Be familiar with the latest translation technology and software
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with Excellent Command of Arabic and English
- Minimum 10 Years of work experience, which includes 5 years in an Engineering Organization
- The candidates should have experience in administration, recruitment and office support roles
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Assisting with onboarding, maintaining employee records, and coordinating training sessions
