Job Purpose
The position carries responsibilities for the management, coordination and inspections of all drilling & workover activities, including implementation of suppliers’ procedures and inspection programmes as well as international specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment has been inspected, assembled and tested by suppliers’ procedures and industry standards
- Reduce mistakes, defects, and non-compliant products by reviewing lessons learned (Right the first time)
- Ensure contractors' and subcontractors' work practices comply with applicable specifications
- Compile written reports of all vendor and subcontractor activities
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to analyse data to improve quality control and systems
- Implement, enforce, and improve risk-based integrity management systems
- Evaluate Audit findings and implement/enforce appropriate corrective actions
- Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry requirements
- Assist in design and engineering where applicable
- Bachelor’s degree or 10 years’ experience
- NDT inspection, auditing, and testing experience
- Knowledge of tools, manufacturing process and industry-specific methods
- Computer skills, including MS Office and databases
- Typically, 10 years’ experience industry-specific (Drilling and Completion) Proven record of strong execution and delivery in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC and management systems
- Strong knowledge of API standards
- Strong knowledge of surface wellhead systems, Drilling, WO, Completions & Intervention Operations & equipment
- Ability to compile detailed technical reports
- Informed Judgment: Uses good practice and sound judgment to deliver safe and competitive operations. Knows when to escalate issues or request additional technical input
