mselect is looking to hire a Senior HR Officer/ Administrative Support  for an international oil and gas service client in Basrah. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry. Fluency in English, and Arabic is a must.
 
ROLE OBJECTIVE
Manage and process the monthly payroll transactions and activities through HRMS and provides relevant services to the employees as per as well address their queries as per policies
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
  • Inputs and updates financial information on the HRMS system according to the approved workflow for implementing the payroll cycle
  • Receives and processes requests from Employees such as annual leaves, vacation, tickets, business trips and pay deductions etc. and makes necessary calculations so that transactions are processed correctly
  • Calculates employee payables such as End of Service dues, vacation pay, and allowances to conclude employee settlements
  • Reviews employee-related financial transactions on a monthly basis and assists Finance Department with entry reconciliations to secure a correct payroll run
  • Ensures that any necessary backup documentation for payroll changes is available in accordance with Company policies and procedures
  • Generates system reports as required by upper management when required to meet business needs
  • Keeps abreast of local labour law legislations and changes that affect payroll implementation
  • Participates in the annual manpower beget process
 
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
 
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR and payroll implementation thru ERP
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and time-sensitive information
  • Flexible, detail-oriented and able to multitask
Education and Certifications:
A Diploma in Human Resources, Finance/Accounting, IT or equivalent is required
