Job Purpose
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the sales team, ensuring that sales targets are met, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the daily activities of the sales team
- Set sales targets and monitor performance to ensure team goals are met
- Coach and train sales representatives to improve skills and productivity
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and clients
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management
- Ensure team adherence to company policies and procedures
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding new sales staff
- Conduct regular field visits and client meetings to ensure high service standards
- Support the implementation of promotional campaigns and product launches
Requirements
- Proven background in administrative roles
- At least 2 years of experience leading successful sales teams
- High level of commitment, responsibility, and leadership
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- An established client base is a strong advantage
- Strong network and connections within hypermarkets and supermarkets
- Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office programs
