JOB SUMMARY
As a Sales Representative in a logistics company, you will be responsible for generating new business, expanding the customer base, and achieving sales targets. You will play a key role in promoting our logistics services, building relationships with clients, and identifying opportunities for growth. The sales representative will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of logistics solutions, and the ability to thrive in a competitive sales environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and research potential clients through market analysis, industry events, and networking
- Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and other outreach strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our logistics services and solutions
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to tailor sales strategies accordingly
- Prepare and present competitive and compelling proposals to potential clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to create customized logistics solutions that meet client requirements
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
- Close sales and secure long-term contracts while adhering to company policies and profitability goals
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging opportunities
- Provide feedback to the management team regarding competitive offerings and adjustments needed to stay ahead in the market
- Gather feedback from clients to understand their satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement
- Communicate client feedback to internal teams for continuous service enhancement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions
- Prepare regular sales reports for management review
- Work closely with operations, customer service, and other internal departments to ensure smooth execution of logistics solutions
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of sales experience
