mselect is hiring a Project Assistant for a consultancy client in Erbil. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic is a must.
 
Job Summary
We are looking for an effective translator, communicator and problem solver to join our client's team as a Project Assistant. The Project Assistant will support the team members and Management, to monitor and evaluate projects and programmes to ensure successful delivery.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Essential Skills:
  • Translation: confident with verbal and written translation between English, Kurdish and Arabic
  • Communication: confident interacting with key stakeholders and contributing to team discussions
  • Research and Reporting Writing: experience conducting research and preparing summaries and analysis
  • Intellectual Curiosity: the ability to look beyond the obvious and question the status quo
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience, in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
  • Experience working with projects and programmes
  • A basic understanding of data analysis
  • Knowledge of the way in which the Government operates in Kurdistan
  • Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic is a must

The profile we are looking for:
  • You need to hold at least a Bachelor’s level degree
