mselect is looking to hire a National After Sales Manager for an international automotive client in Baghdad, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of proven relevant experience within the automotive industry, preferably in a leadership role. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must, Kurdish is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing and execution of Aftersales strategies to achieve set workshop revenue targets and objectives
  • Lead, inspire and guide the workshop team to achieve set targets and objectives while ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyze workshop performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as necessary
  • Build relationships with key customers in the market
  • Monitor market competition and develop proposals to increase market share
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times
  • Ability to identify skill gaps and conduct performance appraisals to address performance issues
  • Budgeting: To prepare the annual service department budget by considering the Units in operation, future units’ sale, past performance to ensure that the Company's Objective of growth is in line with the Market conditions.
  • Revenue & Profit: To achieve and exceed the budgeted target on Net sales, Gross Margins and Net profit by maximizing the revenue streams and optimizing key Service KPI's of Productivity, Efficiency and Utilization.
  • To develop, implement and improve the service process to enhance the Customer service experience and retain CSI no 1
  • Dealers Standards: To work with the principles on developing, implementing and improving on the Standard service transaction defined by the client for all the locations across Iraq
  • Customer Retention: To develop, implement and improve CRM activities to improve Customer retention and service coverage ratio by proactively anticipating the changing Customer needs and demands.
  • Staff Retention: To develop and implement systems for motivating the team members to increase their engagement levels and attract newcomers and Emiratis to be a company of choice through training & development, regular meetings and defining career path for highly engaged workforce.
  • Facility, Manpower & Equipment Planning: To assess and recommend the requirement of Facility, manpower and Equipment in anticipation of the future business requirement.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Automotive Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 05 years of proven experience in workshop management within the automotive industry, preferably in a leadership role
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving organizational goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building abilities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective strategies to improve aftersales operations and drive business growth
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications
  • Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Graduate Engineer in Mechanical/Automobile
  • Postgraduate in Business management would be an added advantage
  • Job-Specific Skills: Understands Automobile Engineering, Dealer Management system usage and MS office
  • Behavioral Competencies: Excellent communication skills, Excellent leadership skills, People focus and Excellent Customer handling skills
