mselect is looking to hire a Key Account Manager for an FMCG client in Erbil, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of Iraqi experience in FMCG and/or 5+ years in B2B food sales. Fluency in English is a must, Arabic and Kurdish are a plus.

Job Purpose
We are looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager in Iraq who will achieve the company's sales objectives in the Iraq market by developing and executing sales strategies and fostering relationships with key customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Iraqi market
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets in Iraq
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients and distributors
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trade terms with customers
  • Expand the company’s presence in modern trade, food service, and traditional trade channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Logistics, Sales team) to deliver seamless service
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to refine strategies

Requirements
  • BA -BS in Business/Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of Iraqi experience in FMCG and/or 5+ years in B2B food sales
  • Understanding of food industry regulations and logistics in Iraq
  • Persuasive negotiator, problem-solver, and culturally savvy
  • Proficiency in MS Office & CRM tools
  • Fluent in English, Arabic, and Kurdish language is a plus
  • Preferably candidates are currently based in Iraq
