HR & Administrative Manager

mselect is looking for a HR & Administrative Manager for a manufacturing client in Baghdad, Iraq. Candidates must have at least 10 years of relevant experience. English and Arabic fluency is a must. 

Summary
The HR & Administrative Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing both the human resources and administrative functions within our organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and systems, as well as managing administrative operations to ensure the efficient operation of the company. The HR & Administrative Manager will report directly to the General Manager and collaborate with various departments to streamline processes, improve productivity, and enhance overall organizational effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational goals and objectives
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating new hire orientation
  • Oversee employee relations, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
  • Oversee facilities management, including maintenance, security, and space allocation
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance
  • Lead the administration of payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage administrative functions such as Facilities Management, Office Supplies, and Equipment Maintenance
  • Monitor and analyse administrative processes to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify HR and administrative needs and develop strategies for improvement
  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Prepare reports and analyse HR and administrative data to provide insights and recommendations to management
  • Manage budgets and expenses related to administrative operations
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in administrative management

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in HR and administrative management roles, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership position
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working in international companies or with diverse multicultural teams
  • Fluent in Arabic and English languages
