Job Purpose
- HSE as per Company standards
- Management and follow-up daily of the E&I/Telecom activities construction execution by the EPC contractor in coordination with the Construction Lead area and the Construction manager
- Ensure the contractor executes the E&I/ Telecom scope as per contract
- Identify any deviation and propose a correction
- Liaising with the supervision team to ensure progress execution, quality and HSE on site
Key Objectives
- Good experience working to international standards in electrical and instrumentation oil and gas projects
- Can read and interpret drawings correctly (P&ID, cable schedules, layout drawings and any other required)
- Experience working in hazardous area installations in oil and gas projects
- Has a good understanding of hazardous area equipment (junction box/gland types, etc.)
- Some MV experience with extensive experience in LV and Instrumentation installations
- Experience in cable containment and cable pulling activities of all types using cable pulling machines
- Good knowledge of testing requirements for all types of equipment (cables, motors, switchgears, etc.)
- Planning expertise and experience-able to work with the contractor to identify scheduling, material and resourcing issues
- Confident in managing contractors with some contractual knowledge
- Experience working with quality management systems and procedures
- Can review and approve method statements and other contractor documents
- Experience or general knowledge of working with systems completions (MC walkdowns/punch list closure)
- Physically fit and can work under pressure safely
- Some shutdown planning and execution experience
- Lock out tag out (LOTO) experience

Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience and at least 10 years onshore construction experience in a Supervisor role
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Delivery-focused with proven experience in achieving project goals whilst maintaining high standards in HSSE always
- Extensive knowledge of the construction process, its implementation and management
- Fully conversant with project management Tools
- Experienced in the production of detailed procedures/documents/reports
- Experienced in the management of personnel and all aspects of teamwork
- Extensive knowledge of O&G-related HSSE safe working practices/procedures related to E&I/Telecom activities
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, Arabic is a plus
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment
