mselect is looking for a Contracts Administrator for an international oil and gas operator in Basrah. Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas industry. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

JOB OBJECTIVE
The Contracts Administrator shall undertake all the admin support to the contracts and/or procurement team including but not limited to maintain the admin work on daily work. This position is also expected to multi task and be flexible to be utilized across C&P.

MAIN DUTIES
  • Work with CP Team & manage all admin work
  • Being focal point for collecting approvals from approving authorities
  • Maintain all archiving in a SharePoint folder
  • Maintain HSE as first priority when executing the work
  • Work with the C&P specialists to maintain updated archiving
  • Check for accuracy and edit files, like contracts, POs, Evaluations etc.
  • Ensure filing of documents by following records management policy
  • Help creating templates for future use
  • Retrieve files as requested by CP requirement and clients
  • Manage the flow of documentation within the organization
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information
  • Help to prepare ad-hoc minor reports when required

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Equivalent
Work experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience
  • Experience of working in a JV environment will be advantage
Languages, computer and software skills:
  • Well versed in MS office
  • Communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
Skills:
  • Good in organizing archives (soft & hard)
  • Strong in computer skills
  • Adjustable to work in a remote location and in a multicultural environment
  • Flexible for working hours
