mselect is hiring a Commissioning Manager for an international oil and gas service client in Sulaymaniyah. Candidates must have at least 8 years of relevant experience and be fluent in English.

JOB OBJECTIVE
Manage the Field Commissioning Technicians and schedules their activities in support of sold Engineered Compression Products all over the world.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Interacts with the Customer in a manner that secures company relationships and maintains the Customer’s Warranty as it is passed through to them
  • Schedule commissioning of new equipment and oversee through completion
  • Provides the technical support as required by the Customer in support of warranty claims and the analysis of evidence for any claims against company’s warranty
  • Provides start up services in accordance to the major equipment supplier requirements to ensure that their warranty terms are met for both rental and Engineered Products including PLC advanced control system setup
  • Fulfil contract obligations made by Company in regard to Engineered Products sales
  • Responsible for warranty administration coordination in relation to Engineered Products and coordinate warranty claims on behalf of Company on all Company’s packages
  • Directly supervises 12 to 15 employees in the Commissioning Department
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Eight years related experience and/or training; four years’ experience managing employees, preferably in a craft-worker environment

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial
  • reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

REQUIRED TRAINING & CERTIFICATIONS
  • Proficient in using a computer and other office equipment, such as copier, printer, calendar, telephones
  • Must be able to communicate and respond to co-workers, customers, vendors, suppliers and emergency cues/alarms, in person and on the telephone, including use of mobile devices
  • Position requires travel 50 % of the time national & International
