Job Objective
As Asset Protection Coordinator, you will provide direct oversight and coordination for all field security staff. This position will ensure the entire Asset Protection Team and Private Security Contractors (PSC) are given support, guidance and mentoring in accordance with Company Security Policies and Procedures. The position will also be the liaison/interpreter to the Oilfield Protection Force (OPF), assisting and developing the integration and active participation by the OPF in emergency response exercises and safety drills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full oversight and management of all Screening Operators
- Coordinate schedules and oversight of (Screening Operators) and (Access Controllers)
- Provide quality control, quality assurance and mentoring to PSC, OPF and contracted personnel
- Carrying out patrols and checks of various positions and duties
- Provide feedback and assessments of all PSC Screening Operators
- Maintain a recorded training schedule of all Screening Operators
- Report any anomalies or failures from the PSC, OPF, or Employees of the Asset Protection Team
- Liaise with the OPF Commanders daily
- Daily and weekly report writing, along with monthly auditing of equipment
- Assist with the assessment of PSC Key Performance Indicators
- Act as liaison and interpreter between the OPF Commander and AP/CR Manager
- Report daily to the AP/CR Manager
- Attend weekly Security meetings with the AP/CR Manager
- Assist with security and emergencies or exercises
- Such other services within the Employee’s capabilities by the client may be requested from time to time
Requirements
- A minimum of seven (7) years of progressive, responsible experience in various security-related positions, either supporting or working directly within the Oil and Gas Industry
- Additional vocational certifications as a translator, health and safety, security training, watchkeeper training and driver training would be highly beneficial
- Language and translation requirements: English & Kurdish - must speak, read, and write fluently
- Advanced working expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Displays good judgment, with initiative and can remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to make quick decisions in emergencies or when rapid response is required
- Flexible to handle the demands of an international organization with 24-hour operations
