MSELECT is looking to hire an Area Sales Manager for an industrial and distribution group in Basra. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in FMCG. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.
Responsibilities
- Manage & monitor performance of SV'S to ensure all areas deliver the targeted volume & margin
- Achieve the budget volume &margin
- Achieve the distribution target 90% SKU'S to 90% customers monthly to optimize sales and market share
- Achieve the all sales KPI'S (visibility, execution, prime location ..etc.)
- Ensure that all contracts of customers are applied as standard company need
- Ensure that the right people on right place
- Ensure that AR is reconcile 100% and collection 100%
Qualification
- Must hold a bachelor's degree
- 5-7 years’ experience in FMCG in beverage as an Area Sales Manager or relevant job, 5 years in dairy is a plus
- Preferably experience in handling all channels (retail, SMKT, WSL)
- Experience in distribution, coverage, excellence in execution, visibility, van sales operation
- Preferably experience in South areas
- Speaks English & Arabic
- Experience in systems of sales (HHT, APP, mobiles)

- Ability to read sales reports and provide the effective solutions to the team and management
- Managing sales team to achieve sales goals through sales system in company
- The ability to evaluate the sale team and set the development & replacement plan
- Ability to discover the opportunities & challenges & provide the productive solutions
- Ability to present the coaching & feedback &rewarding to the team based on results
- Passion to success &positive thinking &working under pressure &long hours
- Effectively to managing the team to achieve company goals
- Managing customers’ contracts and monitor the implementations
- Weekly meeting with all team to discuss the weekly results
- Daily meeting with team on results SV & VSR
- Able to use Microsoft office program (MS, EXCEL, PP)
- Willing to be placed in each area
- Market visit of all stores in his area or depot through work with SV or VSR
- Able to manage 5 direct subordinates& 1-2 depot operations & 20-40 VSR & VSA
- Excellent communication, negotiation, strong leadership skills , coaching and training, time management, assertive, able to analyses &interpret data
