Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Management & Leadership:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 and client/project requirements
- Lead QA/QC teams across multiple ongoing projects, ensuring uniform quality control practices
- Define and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures for all disciplines
- Conduct regular internal audits, vendor inspections, and subcontractor evaluations to ensure compliance with company and client standards
- Interface with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors to resolve technical quality issues and close NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
- Ensure calibration, inspection, and testing of materials and equipment are conducted as per project standards
- Oversee construction QA/QC activities for civil and infrastructure works, including foundations, structural steel, concrete, earthworks, roads, and utilities
- Supervise mechanical and electrical QA/QC in coordination with discipline engineers, ensuring integrated quality across all trades
- Monitor progress and verify completion of critical hold/witness points in line with approved inspection schedules
- Review and approve subcontractors’ QA/QC documentation, including test reports, material certificates, and inspection records
- Conduct final inspections and coordinate with commissioning teams for project handover and quality dossier submission
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including quality manuals, checklists, inspection logs, and test records, to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Track and close non-conformities (NCRs), site observations, and corrective/preventive actions
- Generate weekly and monthly QA/QC reports summarizing inspection statistics, material approvals, NCR status, and lessons learned
- Support project management in technical meetings, audits, and client presentations regarding quality status and performance metrics
Requirements
1. Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or other discipline (required)
- Valid HSE/Safety Training Certificates (Oil & Gas standard)
- In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards (ASTM, ACI, ASME, API, BS, ISO)
- Strong command of QA/QC documentation systems and inspection coordination across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines
- Proficient in MS Office and other technical tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and field teams simultaneously under high operational pressure
