mselect is looking to hire a Pricing Supervisor in Sulaymaniyah for a major telecoms client. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in pricing/ decision support in the telecommunications sector and be fluent in English.
 
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for implementation of pricing strategies and definition of business cases to ensure competitive positioning and long- term profitability of offered products solutions and services.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Identify new pricing development opportunities and tactics to improve the overall performance through:
  • Building a detailed understanding of the customer behavior by analyzing marketing research output & commercial KPIs performance
  • Search/keep updated with international benchmarks of new ideas/ creative pricing promotions that could have a positive uptake when applying
  • Continuous communications with products owners to keep consistent vision and focus on our pricing strategy/direction
  • Analyzing & updating the market landscape and drive conclusions and recommendations that lead in the decision making of any price move or promotion activities & assure portfolio competitiveness
  • Support & Challenge product owners in shaping decisions through providing financial assessments (Business Case) within the agreed upon SLA, and after aligning with the finance till acquiring approval on BC & Concept
  • Organize baseline price information, analyse and report on inconsistencies, and identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through price moves
  • Manage ad-hoc analysis requested
 
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economy or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing/decision support in telecom
  • Perfect command in English
