Responsibilities:
- Work with all stakeholders to ensure the compliance of the Company and its Holding Company with the effective laws and regulations, including but not limited to companies’ law, Labour laws, taxation law, telecom-related laws and regulations
- Responsible for review, drafting, finalizing, and updating all the contracts in coordination with the relevant departments, such as Sales, Procurement, and HR
- Supervising the follow-up of company paperwork processing in the related governmental departments to obtain project-related and other approvals
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments on a broad range of legal issues
- Handle and manage legal disputes, litigation, and other legal matters
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues as required
- Ensuring all members of the legal team work efficiently
- Provide legal advice to the business and its leaders
- Identifying and mitigating legal risks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law & Member of the Bar Association
- A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in Legal affairs, five of which in private sector and 4 years in a managerial position
- Telecom business experience is a strong plus
- Fluent in Arabic, Kurdish, and English
- Computer and documentation skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with authorities
- A proactive and objective approach to problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to align legal advice with business objectives
