Job Purpose
To prepare integrity (Inspection & Corrosion) work packages for PM & CM work orders to develop the equipment maintenance plan as per standard to maintain the equipment availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend daily notification review meetings and planning meetings
- Receive approved inspection and corrosion notifications, estimate required work, generate work orders and obtain proper authorization to release these orders
- Site verification of all equipment relevant to the work pack and completion of the work pack checklist by coordinating the compilation of all required checklist items
- Develop work packs by packaging the work to the tasks, disciplines, materials and services needed to execute work efficiently
- Update the SAP (Computerized Maintenance Management System-CMMS), work orders to indicate activities, relationships, man-hours, rough estimated dates, materials and services
- Identify the spare parts as per the drawings and Bill of Material (BOM) or contact the vendor to identify the spares
- Create forms to code the materials in the materials management system and propose the quantity required in stock
- Create purchase requests (PR), coordinate with contract & procurement (C&P) and technical verification of integrity materials required to purchase
- Print out material pick list, collect materials from the warehouse, bag and tag all materials, then store in a staging area in different locations depending on the priority of the work order
- Coordinate with maintenance planner and discipline leads to prepare work packs for jobs which required multidiscipline activities like scaffolding, mechanical, electrical, and crane activities
- Follow the 60%-20%-20% rule in work preparation and use checklists to carry out site visits (60% Office and Field Preparation, 20% Tracking materials and services, 20% Updating plans from feedback)
- Reviews, plans and reviews all recurring PM (preventive maintenance) activities
- Assist in updating specific task lists for the Integrity plans within CMMS (Computerized maintenance management system)
- Excellent knowledge of verifying and reading P&IDs, engineering drawings and GAD (General Arrangement Drawing, O&M (Operation, Engineering & Maintenance Manuals)
Requirements
- BE Engineering or a minimum 3-year diploma in Mechanical/Chemical or equivalent engineering
- Min 5 years of experience in working as a maintenance work preparer/maintenance planner/maintenance material planner/inspection engineer/corrosion engineer/maintenance engineer/project or construction engineer
- Knowledge of maintenance support services and its requirements
- Competent in the use of CMMS (SAP), materials ordering process, services ordering process, materials masters, information/drawing systems, building of job files
- Candidate shall be experienced in SAP – CMMS Environment in plant maintenance and materials management modules
- MS Office: Excel – Intermediate, Word – Intermediate, PowerPoint – Intermediate
- SAP S/4 HANA – Advanced
- English – upper intermediate (verbal & written)
- Proven supervisory skills, fluency in both written and verbal English language, excellent communication and presentation skills and a focus on continuous self-learning and improvement
- Maintain good relationships with work colleagues between the disciplines and different nationalities
