Job Purpose
The individual serves as a strategic financial leader, responsible for steering the company’s overall economic health, profitability, and sustainability. The role ensures effective financial planning, risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance across the organization and its subsidiaries. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the individual works closely with the CEO and board to drive financial strategy, optimize capital allocation, strengthen internal controls, and support business growth and investment initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives and growth plans
- Provide financial insights and data-driven recommendations to support the CEO and Board in decision-making
- Lead feasibility studies, capital structuring, and financial due diligence for new projects and subsidiaries
- Drive strategic initiatives related to profitability improvement, cash flow optimization, and return on investment
- Oversee all accounting, reporting, and control functions across entities
- Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements compliant with IFRS
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles and review performance against targets
- Approve all major financial reconciliations, journal entries, and audit schedules
- Implement and enforce financial policies, approval hierarchies, and internal control mechanisms
- Direct cash flow management, ensuring liquidity for operational and project requirements
- Monitor and approve all major banking transactions, investments, and financing arrangements
- Maintain optimal relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure efficient funding
- Review and approve daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts
- Evaluate and negotiate capital structure and funding strategies for ongoing and future developments
- Ensure full compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and regulatory standards (RERA, FTA, MOHRE)
- Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring zero non-compliance findings
- Oversee risk management and fraud prevention controls within the Finance Department
- Represent the company during audits, board reviews, and financial discussions with external stakeholders
- Oversee the integration and optimization of Odoo ERP across all financial modules
- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives for accounting, procurement, and reporting
- Ensure data integrity, system security, and periodic process evaluations
- Build a high-performing finance team, providing leadership, mentorship, and structured career development
- Define departmental KPIs and ensure accountability and performance tracking
- Promote a culture of transparency, ethics, and continuous improvement
Requirements
Education & Qualifications:
- Essential: Master's Degree in Finance/Accounting/MBA
- Desirable: CPA/ACCA/CMA Certified
- Essential: 10–12 years of finance experience with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role
- Desirable: Experience in the real estate or construction sector
- Essential: Proficiency in Odoo ERP, Tally, Excel, and Financial Modelling
- Desirable: Continuous improvement mindset
- Essential: Knowledge of the English Language
- Desirable: Knowledge of Arabic or another language
- Essential: Strategic, analytical, and results-driven leader
- Desirable: Strong leadership presence and board communication skills
