Job Purpose
The Admissions and Registration Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the entire admissions process, from student recruitment and application processing to enrolment and registration. The Supervisor will also oversee the registration process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for all students.ย ย
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive admissions strategy aligned with the institutionโs goals for student recruitment, retention, and diversityย
- Lead the development of marketing and recruitment plans to attract prospective students from diverse backgrounds and regionsย
- Oversee the entire admissions process, including application review, decision making, and communication with prospective studentsย
- Utilize data and analytics to track admissions trends, monitor application outcomes, and adjust strategies as necessaryย
- Oversee the registration process, ensuring it is efficient, user-friendly, and supportive of studentsโ academic progressย
- Collaborate with academic departments and IT to ensure accurate and timely course registration, record-keeping, and reportingย
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that streamline the registration process and support student successย
- Lead, mentor, and develop the admissions and registration teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvementย
- Work closely with academic departments, financial aid, student services, and other key stakeholders to support student recruitment and retention effortsย
- Serve as the primary liaison between the admissions office and external partners, including and educational institutionsย
- Represent the institution at, recruitment events, and other public forums to promote the institution and its programsย
- Oversee the management of admissions and registration data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with all relevant regulationsย
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on admissions trends, enrolment data, and other key metricsย
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and improve admissions and registration processesย
- Develop and implement admissions and registration policies that align with institutional goals and regulatory requirementsย
- Ensure compliance with all federal, regional, and institutional regulations related to admissions, registration, and student recordsย
- Regularly review and update policies and procedures to ensure they reflect best practices and support institutional objectivesย
Requirements
- Masterโs degree in Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, or a related fieldย
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in admissions, enrolment management, or a related area within higher educationย
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful admissions strategiesย
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading large, diverse teamsย
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsย
- Proficiency in data analysis and experience using data to inform strategic decisions Knowledge of admissions and registration software systemsย ย
- Fluent in English and Kurdish
