Job Objective
The Trade Specialist will work within the Export Promotion Department of the Export Office to support the organization’s mission to guide and support priority sectors to improve their export capabilities and attract investments into Kurdistan’s exporting sectors. The Trade Specialist will use his expertise to support, advise and upskill farmers to increase their competitiveness
Responsibilities
- Support and advise exporters and exporting projects end-to-end on matters regarding business management or export?related subjects
- Design and provide training for exporters focused on improving business acumen and export capabilities to increase competitiveness
- Create and provide access to export-related manuals and guides
- Support in providing and facilitating financing solutions for exporters
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with trade and/or business management
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Fluent in Kurdish and English, Arabic is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Agriculture, Public Administration, Economics, Business)
