Job Purpose
Reporting to the Lead Area Scheduler, the Area Scheduler is accountable for delivering an integrated 12-week area schedule within Primavera P6. The 12-week area schedule is built in collaboration with the departmental planners across all departments, including Subsurface, Wells, Operations, Maintenance & Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver an optimised Area 12-week schedule that is integrated across functions (subsurface, wells, operations, maintenance & engineering):
- Facilitate the Area 12-week scheduling meeting
- Ensure that the Area 12-week Schedule is fully populated with all CAP activities and is deliverable within Area and Site constraints
- Ensure enough buffers between activities and allowances for emergent work in the Area 12-week schedule
- Ensure that all activities are assured against the 12, 6 & 2-week schedule gate readiness criteria
- Communicate the published Area 12-week schedule to all functions and Area personnel
- Identify functional activities that introduce risk to the delivery of the Area 12-week schedule
- Identify and drive resolution of cross-functional conflicts
- Manage the inclusion of approved emergent work into the Area 12-week schedule
- Support the 12-week AP Gatekeeper in assessing the Area 12-week Schedule waiver requests
- Build detailed schedules in Primavera to support the delivery of the work allocated to the Area’s maintenance
- Assist in the 8Q Schedule development and maintenance
- Ensure that departmental planners are progressing activities
- Review AP KPI performance with area leaders
- Drive continuous Improvement in the area of scheduling performance
- First point of contact for site issues, re-planning, rescheduling, and tools
Requirements
- A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 3 years relevant planning experience (Essential)
- Primavera Experience (Essential)
- Maximo Experience (Desirable)
