Job Purpose
Responsible for the planning, co-ordination, and overall execution (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning) of Facilities Projects as directed by the Facilities Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities

Required to have the capability to undertake the following tasks with minimal supervision:
- Technical management of all project phases, including concept definition and development, detailed engineering, implementation (Construction and Commissioning) and close-out
- Lead the development of project cost estimates with the support of the Cost Engineer
- Lead the development of project schedules with the Planning Engineer
- Manage Budgets and Schedules for all allocated projects
- Manage external engineering resources to complete allocated project scope
- Coordinate with internal engineering personnel to deliver allocated project scope
- Liaise and communicate with internal project stakeholders as required to ensure effective input into designs
- Coordinate with internal contracts, procurement and supply chain resources to implement service contracts and purchase materials required to deliver the project
- Coordinate and liaise with the site construction team to support the effective management of the construction scope for the project
- Work with the internal engineering, operations and construction teams to development Requirements Commissioning and handover plans
- Effectively manage project and technical change
- Report on project performance at regular intervals
- Train and mentor local staff as required
Requirements
1. Education and Qualifications Expected/Required:
- Degree/diploma in applicable numerate discipline - mechanical, process, chemical, petroleum engineering preferred
- Member of an internationally recognized Professional Engineering Association
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Facilities Project Manager with extensive onshore oil & gas project experience with an E&P Operator
- Previous project experience in the Middle East is essential. Experience in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq would be considered a bonus
