Job Purpose
The Field Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing HR support across all field facilities and ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of HR functions at field locations. The role delivers efficient, high-quality HR services while supporting the Senior HR Manager and upholding the company's high ethical standards in line with its objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures that all HR needs in field locations are met in a timely manner at all times
- Responsible for delivering a high standard of HR support to employees, contractors, and managers across field operations
- Support the HR manager on the recruitment process for field-based roles, ensuring job profiles are up to date and in full compliance with the company’s resourcing policy and MNR requirements
- Work closely with and in support of PF managers and the HR function on all HR administrative matters, including personnel record keeping, reviewing and updating resourcing plans and organisation charts, administering the year-end performance management process, etc
- Support the senior HR coordinator with Duhok social security submissions and updates as required
- Liaise with local authorities, communities, and stakeholders when required
- Support disciplinary, grievance, and investigation processes as required
- Coordinate onboarding and exit processes for field staff
- Conduct new employee orientation and leaving processes for all field employees
- Provides guidance and support to employees and managers on the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures
- Maintain training attendance records and certifications
- Support HR-led development initiatives and competency programmes
- Support audits, inspections, and internal HR reviews
- Represent HR at site meetings, toolbox talks, and townhalls when required
- Assist with employee relations issues as they arise fairly and transparently, and in line with company policy
- Maintain updated records of personnel data on the BambooHR system (emergency information, address, contract rotation, etc)
- Provide a weekly report on all HR activities in the field to the senior HR Manager
- Ensure that the strictest of confidentiality and the highest ethical standards are always maintained
- Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures
- Perform other tasks as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- High level of tact and discretion with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work under time pressure and deliver results to tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including English, with the ability to translate documents and presentations as required
- Computer literate, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Confident approach with excellent teamwork skills
- High safety awareness
- Flexibility and willingness to support others in the Company if required
