mselect is looking to hire a Stakeholder Relations Manager for a consultancy client in Erbil. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with 2 years in a managerial level position. Fluency in English and Kurdish is a must, and Arabic is a plus.

Job Overview
As a Stakeholder Relations Manager, your role will be to develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including public entities, ministries, and other relevant organizations. You will be responsible for engaging stakeholders, addressing issues, leveraging connections, and fostering collaboration to support the project's objectives. Your goal will be to ensure effective stakeholder management and engagement, facilitate communication, and drive the success of the initiative.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact and building trust and credibility
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align stakeholder engagement activities with project objectives, ensuring consistency and mutual understanding
  • Monitor and assess stakeholder sentiment, perceptions, and concerns related to the project, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and resolve issues
  • Advocate for the project's goals and objectives with stakeholders, influencing and persuading them to support the initiative
  • Collaborate with public entities and ministries to address any issues, obstacles, or regulatory challenges that may arise, finding effective solutions and ensuring compliance
  • Leverage personal connections and networks to facilitate productive engagements with stakeholders, enabling the project's progress and success

Requirements:
  • Education: bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Public Relations, or Political Science. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
  • Previous Experience in Year and Field: Previous experience in stakeholder management, government relations, public affairs, or a related role within the industry
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic – Fluency in English is a plus
  • Other Skills:
    • Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement principles, public sector dynamics, and government processes
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex organizational structures
    • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills to address issues and find mutually beneficial solutions
    • Knowledge of the region's political landscape, regulatory framework, and cultural nuances that impact stakeholder relations
    • Strong ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism in dealing with stakeholders and sensitive information

Rotation:
  • 5 days per week and 8 hours per day (Starting from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm)
