mselect is looking to hire a Commissioning Coordinator for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, including 7+ years in completions or commissioning coordination. Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and maintain the completions management system (CMS) for the entire project lifecycle
  • Administer and create/validate systemisation, check sheets, punch lists, verification records, and engineering parameters
  • Review and approve contractor completion plan’s, procedures, test packs, loop packs, and completion dossiers
  • Track completion progress and produce daily/weekly system status, punch list, and turnover reports
  • Ensure all deliverables satisfy requirements for RFPC, RFSU, and final handover certificates
  • Coordinate mechanical completion (MC), pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities
  • Facilitate functional checks, loop tests, readiness for energisation, system turnovers, and punch list closeout
  • Support the development and implementation of system boundaries, completion strategies, and turnover execution plans
  • Ensure issues affecting commissioning or start-up are escalated and resolved promptly
  • Monitor contractor execution, verifying compliance with project requirements and QA/QC standards
  • Ensure preparation, review, and approval of all turnover packages and system dossiers
  • Maintain accurate red-line drawings, DCNs, subsystem boundaries, vendor documentation, system/sub-system mark-up drawings and technical records
  • Manage the end-to-end handover process, ensuring complete transfer of tools, equipment, software licences, guarantees, and documentation to operations
  • Maintain registers for punch lists, isolations/spading, overrides/inhibits, operator witness activities, and technical queries
  • Review and support PTW, JSA, isolations, and hazardous energy management
  • Participate in SIMOPS reviews including emergency response and evacuation procedures
  • Notifies stakeholders of high-risk activities and ensures safe execution in compliance with project requirements and applicable standards
  • Support reviews of P&IDs and SLDs and ensure controlled access to operational areas

Requirements
  • A degree, diploma, or certification in Engineering is preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including 7+ years in Completions or Commissioning coordination
  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical Completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and turnover processes in large EPIC projects
  • Experience developing and reviewing completions procedures, test packs, loop packs, and MC dossiers
  • Proven ability to manage multiple activities and resolve interface issues across multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
  • Offshore Oil & Gas experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in Completions Management Systems (CMS) such as Hexagon, OMEGA 365, or similar, including systemization setup, check sheet allocation, punch list management, data validation, turnover package preparation, and database reconciliation with engineering updates
