Key Responsibilities
- Maximizing profit through driving revenues and controlling costs within the business; achieving budget through planned initiatives and controlling
- Managing and assessing the team performance, and directing the team to achieve success where everyone contributes
- Review guest feedback, Mystery Shopper results, and plan and implement corrective action if needed
- Leading, motivating, and directing the other employees
- Effectively driving treatment delivery to meet, and where possible exceed, targets
- Ensuring that the booking system is managed effectively
- Maintaining and managing the Spa customers ' database
- Monitoring visitors and assisting with inquiries
- Receiving and greeting visitors in an efficient, tactful, and courteous manner
OSHAD Responsibilities
- Spa Manager will be responsible and accountable for the Implementation and improvement of Occupational Health and Safety Practices for the area of representation in the hotel
- Develop new work procedures as required, in conjunction with the Department Head
- Provide all employees with relevant OSH information in an appropriate manner
- Provide personal protective equipment and clothing if hazards cannot be fully eliminated
- Provide adequate supervision through technical guidance and support
- Assisting the department head in carrying out risk assessment in their work activities and identifying and controlling hazardous conditions
- Provide appropriate facilities for safe storage, handling, and transport of hazardous substances
- Ensure that all accidents and injuries are reported to the EHS Manager/Department Head
- Ensuring that OSH objectives and targets are followed and communicated to all staff to achieve the desired result
- Ensure that staff are adequately supervised
- Ensure that any risks, which they notice, or which have been brought to their attention, are either, where practicable, made safe, or, where not feasible, reported to the Head of Department
Requirements
- Should ideally have a degree in physiotherapy/spa field with at least 3 years of experience in the same position, along with previous supervisory experience, preferably within a five-star international hotel
- You must also have fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic, and positively contribute to sales activities, along with the ability to solve problems effectively
