Key Responsibilities
- To provide project engineering and management for Process Platform/Facilities of the Redevelopment Project, by the Project Management Framework
- Responsible for leading and coordinating project teams formed to provide complete project engineering and management to execute the Process Platform/Facilities of the Redevelopment project
- Prepare and implement Project Execution Plans
- Participate in Project Planning, Cost Control, Budgeting, Contract Administration, Progress Reporting, Change Management, and Stage Gate approval activities
- Manage and coordinate a team of multidisciplinary engineers to achieve timely review of deliverables and resolution of technical and engineering issues
- Participate in the preparation of the scope of work, tender packages, tendering process, evaluation of tenders, and submissions with appropriate recommendations to the relevant Tender Committees
- Monitor the performance and quality of work by EPIC contractor and Vendors and initiate remedial actions to ensure compliance with agreed milestones
- Contribute to the risk management process through identification, mitigation, implementation, and close-out of identified project risks and issues
- Facilitate management of Project interfaces between EPIC Contractors and various project stakeholders according to interface management plans
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSE standards/regulations and Project Quality Standards in close coordination with QHSE engineers
- Handles the assessment of the Contractor’s time and cost-related claims
- Reviews and recommends the settlement of final accounts and variations to contracts
- Ensure timely Project Handover and Completion. Responsible for ensuring and following up on completion and handover certificates, punch list close-out, approval of SPIRs and SAPCMMS, leading to handover of the project to the asset holder
- Facilitate the timely project close-out process
- Prepare progress reports of projects for internal reporting and presentations
- Mentor Associates by ensuring that they receive proper job training to realise their full potential
Requirements
- BSc in an Engineering discipline from a recognised University; a higher degree would be advantageous
- Membership in a recognised professional engineering/project management association/institution will be an added advantage
- A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in engineering, project management, and execution of major EPIC projects in Offshore oil & gas
- Specific work experience in the execution of Process/Gas Compression Platform involving Jacket, Topside, Bridges, and Appurtenances
- Effective communication (presentation, report writing, and management of meetings) skills
