mselect is looking for a Rig Site Materials and Logistics Coordinator for an international oil and gas operator in Kurdistan, Iraq. Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant job experience. must be fluent in English and Kurdish.

Job Purpose
Primarily the role is for mentoring and Training of Nationals, to a suitable standard whereby they can work unsupervised. Field Based Position primarily. Occasional visits to Erbil to review Drilling / Well Services Inventory.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain an accurate Inventory of supplied Equipment & Supplies at the Rig Site in support of Drilling & Well Services Operations
  • Material & Personnel input into Drilling Operation Lookahead
  • Maintain a register and record of all Rental Tools & Third-Party Equipment held at the Rig Site, ensuring arrival and departure dates are correctly stated for cost control purposes
  • Close communication with Erbil Materials & Logistics team to ensure smooth Mobilization/ De-Mobilization of Equipment
  • Coordinate/ Supervise all Vehicle Loading & Offloading (Diesel, Water, Equipment & Third-Party Services) maintaining safe working practices during activities
  • Work closely with SCM Department
  • Attend Daily Operational Meetings ensuring to feedback M&L updates accordingly

Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ Years of experience with an IOC in Material & Inventory management on Drilling & Completion Operations
  • Vast knowledge of Land Drilling, Drilling Operations, Drilling Equipment, Well Services Operations & Completions Equipment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & have an understand of Industry wide Inventory Management Systems.
  • Organizational & Coordination Skills
  • Communication/ Interpersonal skills and tolerant & understanding of difference cultures
