Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets
- Identify new business opportunities, distribution channels, and market segments
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales plans
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to align supply with market demand
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and collective goals
- Set clear performance targets and monitor progress through regular reviews
- Provide coaching, field support, and sales training to enhance team capability
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, dealers, and distributors
- Handle major client negotiations and ensure the timely resolution of customer issues
- Strengthen brand reputation through professional service and client engagement
- Oversee order processing, pricing, and delivery coordination with internal departments
- Monitor receivables and support credit control to ensure timely payments
- Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan promotional campaigns and trade activities
- Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings
- Provide market feedback to inform product development and pricing strategies
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience, with strong experience in the FMCG sector, preferably in juices or food products
- Strong ability to manage and negotiate with customers
- Ability to initiate and implement new ideas and sales strategies
- Knowledge of export documentation and customer management
- Excellent analytical, statistical, and sales skills
