mselect is looking to hire a Country Sales Manager for an FMCG client in Baghdad, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with a strong background in the FMCG sector, preferably in the juices or food products segment. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets
  • Identify new business opportunities, distribution channels, and market segments
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales plans
  • Collaborate with production and logistics teams to align supply with market demand
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management:
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and collective goals
  • Set clear performance targets and monitor progress through regular reviews
  • Provide coaching, field support, and sales training to enhance team capability
3. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, dealers, and distributors
  • Handle major client negotiations and ensure the timely resolution of customer issues
  • Strengthen brand reputation through professional service and client engagement
4. Sales Operations & Reporting:
  • Oversee order processing, pricing, and delivery coordination with internal departments
  • Monitor receivables and support credit control to ensure timely payments
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management
5. Marketing & Business Development Support:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan promotional campaigns and trade activities
  • Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings
  • Provide market feedback to inform product development and pricing strategies

Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience, with strong experience in the FMCG sector, preferably in juices or food products
  • Strong ability to manage and negotiate with customers
  • Ability to initiate and implement new ideas and sales strategies
  • Knowledge of export documentation and customer management
  • Excellent analytical, statistical, and sales skills
