JOB PURPOSE
The primary objective is to contribute to the company’s success by ensuring that all phases of construction work, civil and structure execution work is being done effectively and with minimal hassles.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Integration of civil works aspects like foundations, stability, technology, testing to various phases of the project, Preparation of specification for construction, transformation, repairs/ rehabilitation of structures
- Responsible for overseeing & reviewing the EPC contractor & sub-contractors civil package deliverables to ensure that they are within the specification, assist in the preparation, review & documentation like ITP, QA / QC procedures, Quality plan etc., related to the project,
- On the basis of monitoring/ inspection, issue and follow up on non-conformity reports (NCR), Corrective action requests (CAR) and preventive action request (PAR)
- Ensure the implementation of approved ITP, QCP, inspection and test procedures developed by contractor and approved by Company
- Ensure involvement in all civil and structure mechanical completion including punch listing, final walk down activities, in all the civil activities like grading, trenching, as-built, berm/ bund construction
- Raising punch point list as per project specification and follow up for the same for closeout
- Review final QC dossiers as per project specification and provides inputs if any
- Provide technical support for procurement of related equipment and materials, push forward the manufacturing and transportation progress, and participate in entrance inspection and acceptance check
- Provide the conceptual and basic engineering solution for any modification for clients
- Communicate with other disciplines related with civil and steel structure
- Communicate with design contractor and review design documents; particularly make drawings for some projects
- Responsible for inspection of steel structure erection, alignment and final release for grout works, Well aware of and practising experience of international codes and standards for civil and structure execution work
- Responsible for inspection of sandwich panels & different kinds of structural cladding
- Good communication skills by a good interface between various entities of the project team, Participation in all multi-functional activities
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma of Associate Engineer Civil or B. E Civil Engineering
- Computer literate – in particular MS Office
- Total Experience: 6 years of working in C&S with a minimum of 3 years in Oil & Gas projects
- MS Office: Excel, Word and Power point – Advanced
- Auto-CAD skill– Advanced
- Any other software as may be available from time to time
- English – Excellent (Spoken & Written)
