JOB PURPOSE
- Provide Civil Engineering technical support and implementing instructions from the Team Leader to support Maintenance department
- Proficient and self-motivated Engineer, with good time management skills and a track record for consistent project delivery - with strong technical knowledge and competence discipline. Works well with minimal supervision
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide scope of work for all civil work inside the oil field for infrastructure maintenance department
- Managing parts of construction projects
- Undertaking surveys
- Setting out sites and organizing facilities
- Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
- Supervising contracted staff
- Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
- liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
- Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
- Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
- liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the cost of work orders
- To attend daily/weekly progress meetings and generate status reports as requested
- Provide Risk Assessment and JSA for all Civil work
- Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability as per company policy
QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
- High professional skills in AutoCAD program 2D&3D
EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of relevant job experience within the oil & gas industry
- Minimum 3 years of experience as civil engineer role in oil and gas industries
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY, COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE SKILLS
- MS Excel – advanced
- MS Word – Intermediate
- MS PowerPoint – Intermediate
- SAP – intermediate
- English – upper intermediate (verbal & written)

- Promote and maintain high level of safety awareness, by completion of unsafe act reports/ near miss reports/ incident reports/ toolbox talks

- Maintenance experience in engineering of various types foundations for static and rotating equipment’s, pipe supports, pipe racks and pipe bridges
- Experience in maintenance of oilfield facilities such as control rooms, electrical substations, pump sheds, tank foundations.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills both technical and non-technical
- Experience in technical evaluation of bids for materials
- Shall possess and be capable of demonstrating administration and interpersonal skills in dealing with company site representative with regard to terms and conditions of contract, the work, invoices timesheets and all associated documentation
- Ability to work cohesively and communicate successfully in multi-cultural teams whilst being aware of and sensitive to cultural differences
- Ability to communicate, co-ordinate, and manage cost data flow interfaces with each function
